Arulagam fiercely champions indigenous tribal rights through legal aid and community mobilization, having filed 100 Individual Forest Rights (IFR) and 2 Community Forest Rights (CFR) claims in Gudalur, while supporting 18 villages in Coonoor and Kotagiri and assisting 52 Toda, Irular, and Kurumbar families in Ooty with land redistribution. Beyond advocacy, we invest deeply in tribal livelihoods through forest produce value addition, eco-tourism, and sustainable agriculture, forging strong alliances with local groups, government bodies, and non-profits to amplify our reach. Every year we also run five veterinary camps in remote areas offering vaccinations, deworming, and traditional medicine treatments, while training farmers in fodder cultivation, silage production, and hydroponics — because when land, community, and livestock thrive together, families truly flourish
